Hot and Cold A/C

My '93 ATX will intermittently begin to blow warm air from the A/C. There are no particular conditions or set of circumstances that relate one event to the other. If I shut the car off or turn the A/C off, then on, it blows cold again, or it just blows cold again by itself. The A/C system is fully charged and normally blows 35 degree air. I'm at a loss, can anyone help?? TIA, Bob.

Possibly Bad Coil and/or Clutch.

Sounds like the blend door is the problem. Do the Self Diagnostics Test, You can get the directions from www.shotimes.com/SHO3acselftest.html

When it starts blowing hot with the AC MAX pop the hood and see if the ac clutch is engaged.
