Not sure on color code, I would advise to use the subwoofer output lines. I know the regular speakers are regulated so they don't blow, so you will lose lots of bass. Experienced this in my 12 Focus with the sony system. Once I used the sub out lines, was perfect.

Let me see if I can get a hold a schematic for you. I plan on adding an amp myself, but I don't have the Sony system.

well looks like your in luck, they are the same as the schematic I have from my 12 Focus lol. Here's the pin out. Sub1 + is Violet, Sub1 - is yellow. Sub2 + is Green and Violet and sub2 - Gray. They are both going to one speaker correct? its a dual voice coil speaker.

Ah ok makes sense according to the schematic. I really like the box above. Looks like a good fit. I plan on maybe just doing 2 10's. I really didn't want 2 tho :/ .

I remember just using a multi-meter and seeing which wire had +12 volts and then turn the car off and see if its 0v.

Check the fuse panel for a open ACC power, if its anything like the F150 there is an open fuse that you can plug a pig tail into.
