Thanks Bob ;) Yep, in the world of strut relocators I'm just about it... well actually a local guy fabs them up, and I sell them for him :salute: Anyways, my paypal is [email protected], same as my email address. With about 300+ sets out there they will get the job done. Price is $45 shipped for the non-plus hoods, and $50 for the fiberglass "plus" jobs. Keep me posted, and look forward to hearing from you. :thumb:

Also how dificult would it be to install a kit? I'm assuming I'll have to drill, uh, "something".

no drilling for mine. it was as easy as remove 2 bolts on each side put the relocators on, and put the bolts back in.

This is correct... no modifications needed.

As for the Cincy hoods, we sell them but you can use them at your own risk. The owner of CincySHO has them and I told him the same thing. He's had no problems, but I recommended he try and find a used set of hood struts or somee from another application without quite as much umph since the CF and fiberglass hoods are so much lighter. Hope that helps, and I'm here to serve :salute:

For what it's worth I have relocators on my mutated cincyhood and they're OK too.

yeah i was thinking of searching in the junkyards for struts that don't hold up a normal hood, and then hoping they'd be strong enough for the much lighter hood.

most of the time they are... if it will barely hold up the stock steel hood(50+lbs.) then i'd think it would work pretty good on a lighter hood.... OTH, you may have to replace it sooner than normal... (which means, going back to the JY, :p )
