I took my bumpstops out and drilled holes right there and mounted them:thumb:

im guessing hes prlly putting em on a c/f hood since they are c/f you know but umm why what would happen if he threw em on a stock hood am i missin sutn here? because my bumpstops are all funky n brokenn and i just hate messin wit em so i was thinkin of throwin these in the stock hood to get it to sit flush unlike how it sits now.

I can try and get pics in a few of where I put them.. IMO, don't take the bump stops out.... MAke yours operable, or get ones that work, they end up working against/with the hood pins, to keep the hood secure and tight... Mine have worked great and the hood doesn't move around at all..
only problem is, i can almost guarantee the carbon fiber inlay (which matches perfectly initially) will soon after lose its finish, and become a pale white...! I had to take mine off, and polish up the aluminum plate below it...

likewise, just get some working bump stops... why ruin the clean look of a stock hood with hood pins??

then i removed the bump stops and used the holes that were there for the studs and as for the bump stops i used a black rubber hose for adjusting the height of the hood. it fits great and does not move when going down the road. and i dont have a latch i moved it down so far the hood only reaches the safety catch so if some ****** undoes my hood pins the safety catch is still there so il notice it and pull over i suggest this for anyone else too cause the fiberglass hood just didnt latch like it should so i did this
