Hood Deflector Question

I had one on my '97 once. The use tape and stick to the underhood area. It will mar the paint unless some rubber bump pieces are uses where the plastic may hit the painted surface.

Does anyone know how these attach (See link below)? Does it bolt to the bottom of the hood somehow and wrap around, or is it just an adhesive type thing like the window deflectors?

for the 2010 taurus after you bring up the deflector click on tech spec
then install instructions select exterior then deflectors then scroll down to
2010 taurus hood deflector near bottom of page click and instructions will pop up

Not sure about the exact mounting. The one for my '07 Freestyle was after market, not Ford. Required 4 mounting screws across the underside of the hood. It came with all mounting hardware including rubber bumpers to be placed where it "might" rub the paint.

Great, didn't know all that was there. Exactly what I was looking for. It does in fact bolt/clamp on on the hood and has rubber bumpers as others have said...


Not sure if it's worth putting on...
