High beam dash light flickering?

I just noticed today that my dashlight for my highbeams is flickering or staying on regaurdless of if the car is on or off, anyone know anythingabout this?

Might be the DRL module in the in front of the front drives fender area.

My high beam light doesn't work at all and I'm pretty sure that it is the day time run lamps module. Just haven't had the guts to spend 50 bucks on something that might or might not solve the problem. Plus I'm not crazy about daytime running lamps anyway.

Pull the fuse and take the DRL module out. There is a bypass plug put into the DRL socket to bypass it. Availabe at the JY in any Taurus/Sable W/O DRLs.

I guess that was what it was. Now the DRL's don't work (which I like better) and the high beam indicator light has completely stopped doing anything. At any rate, no skin off my back. I hate DRL's. Thanks for the input everyone.

Hi beam indicator goes through the DRL module. That's what the bypass plug is for. You can jumper the terminals if you have the right material. 20ga copper solid like used on flouresecent ballast is the perfrect size.

bulb issue. clean contacts or replace bulb, or do what nimz says :)
