What if:
You go to a junk yard,find a newer Mark VIII,

What exactly would you need to get to use the HID system off of it?
Is that even possible?I,ve seen so many people here make all manner of custom things(which I might still do,read projector)but I asked at the yard today and they said for a "ballast",headlight wiring harness,switch, and a relay(everything I could think of off the top of my head to ask about)= $35.00

all u need is the ballast and the bulbs the wiring is just two wires

And if you can get it all for $35 bucks, I would snap that up.

How's your projector project going?Did you figure a way to recover the lens?I have a really cool idea,have to do some measuring though.

p.s.Did you put the projector system through the front?If not,after cutting the back of the housing,how did you reseal it?

I think I found out how to recover the front of the lens. But that is the problem I'm having right now, is resealing the rear, because I cut out a lot of it, and not sure what to cover it with. But the project goes on wink
