If you dont look at the edges of the plexiglas... (they will be done much better later) Whats the consensus on the looks thus far?

That looks badass so far. I would take out the fish tank to make it look better. It just dosen't look right next to the clear lens in my opinion.

IMO it totally looks out of place on the gen 2 headlight assembly. The design itself for the projectors is cool, it just doesn't flow well at all. shrug If you are going to make the assembly clear like that it should be done with the whole assembly, for cosmetic purposes. It looks like you got a nice start though. And are the middle lights "angel eyes?"

crizzaSHO:
where did you get the plexyglass from?????
Mr friend had some laying around, but you can go to just about any hardware store and pick some up, its fairly cheap from what i remember. It came flat though... my friend and I molded the plexiglas with a heat gun, it turned out better than i expected.

Hey, has any one else noticed that this post is OWNED by Green SHO's?!? finger

Anyway, I think that so far, it looks very neat and I bet that the headlights will come out great after it is all completed!! Just keep us posted on the process.

Hey man the lights look sweet! However, you stated that you used plexiglass to make them. I dont know how well that will hold up against scratches and what not. You might need a lot of mother plastic polish. lexan, more expensive probably would of been a better material..

I believe that scratch resistant plexiglas is available, and does not turn yellow like lexan.
What brand lights?

The Type Of Lights Used:

The interior lights are Pilot Navigator NV-605... i bought them on sounddomain.com for around $40, the exterior lights are Hella Optilux Model 1002 Fogs, i got them at advance for $45.

If you wish to find some replacement headlights for cheap that you wont be afraid of cutting up, look at your local junkyard, granted they will probobly not have any SHOs... but they do have sables, and with a little elbow greese, the junkyard lights can be shined up real nice.
