i was wondering, if that would be possible...
i have my Hi Revs PP from my last trans job, and its in good condition, with only 6k on it.... or so....
could i get another clutch disc and use it agian? I want to use it again, because of its "higher capacity"
i also have a ford factory replacement clutch disc and PP.... could i use that clutch disc... or would that match be wrong... i dont mind spending the money for a high performance clutch disc... just dont want to spend the 400 again...
also, i have the perfection clutch in there right now... that PP looks very close to the Hi revs...
So do yall think i can use either the Hi revs jr PP , again, or the perfection PP, with the FF clutch disc, or just go get a HD clutch disc from josh, or if mikey sells just the disc.... for the clutchmasters I or even II.... dont mind the heavy petal.....
whats the verdict??? TIA

High revs JR clutch kits come with stock valeo disks so the oem would be the same. only the PP is diff.

You can use a different disc. The Clutchmasters stage 1 pressure plate is a stock PP with reinforced straps/rivets.

Using other discs will increase the grabbiness and holding power some.

i was thinking along the lines of Josh's HD clutch Disc??? or, whatever....

if i could find a C/M Stage III disc....
would that work? or is the disc too grabby for the PP???? i dont mind the hard petal....

The pedal feel will be absolutely no different, the pressure plate determines that. The Stage 3 disc is nothing special, its just windowed kevlar.

I would run a stock disc with a double diaphragm pressure plate, personally.
