thanks guys,
I work for a guy who is a saab nut, and I have a 1961 96 and a 1959 93F I need to get a substantial amount of work done on before I dive into the morris, but I'd like to get all my parts and a clear idea of what I'm going to be doing done beforehand.
I'm looking at the feasibility of using the independent rear out of the MN12 thunderbird/cougar, but that's really going to depend on price/availability of a donor car. I think the track is a bit wide on that rear end stock. I need to be about 56" from the outsides of the tires. I'm fabbing the whole chassis and a new box, so inner clearance won't be an issue.
anyhoo, words of wisdom, pointers, ect, would be great. I'm reading through the forums trying to get a handle for the terminology and general SHO common sense, but since I don't have one in my hands, I'm sure I'll miss and misunderstand a lot. please bear with me.
I'm pretty excited about this project, though. I get to drive it around everywhere, as it's getting built mainly for advertizing. and... obviously, because a turbo'd V6 powering 1800 lbs is going to be a riot.
(I'm aiming at 1800 lbs)
