Hey guys I have a clunk in my front end, probably tie-rod ends

Are they problematic in the Gen III's?? The car only has 26K, and I can hear some front end noises already.

Could it be anything else, struts maybe??

To check the TREs, raise the wheel off the ground, grasp it at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, push and pull, and see if there is any movement. If there is, wrap your hand around the TRE and have an assistant repeat the motion. You can feel it if it's the outer TRE. If the whole steering rod moves, then the inner TRE is worn.

Grasp the wheel at 6 and 12 o'clock positions and push and pull to see if there is any movement in the vertical axis. If so, you most likely have play in the ball joint(s).

Inspect your sway bar end links while you're at it.

Probably the subframe bushings or a damaged end link.
