I feel the engine noise inside the car.
So, I checked the engine room.
Is this normal? Problem?

Listening to stuff on the Internet is so subjective I can't say that's not "normal" compared to both my 2013 and 2016 - but - and it's a big but - that does sound a bit loud - but also - direct injection is a bit loud anyway.

Wait for more input ;)

ok. Can I hear other sho engine sounds ?
I think the noise of the Intake manifold seems abnormal. (sound of rolling gravel)

Not sure anything is abnormal. There is the normal "diesel-like" sound of the valvetrain/injectors. Take off the HPFP cover and it will get even louder LOL. There is also the hissing sound as air flows through the intake tubes, plus possibly in a line next to the master cylinder. Also normal, apparently!

As to why you can hear it inside the cabin, with the engine appearance cover on, IDK. The SHO is supposed to be "coffin-quiet" inside with doors/windows closed.

Mine has a hissing noise that I've been wondering about for a while. Seems like it comes from the back right of the engine bay. Is that the same one you are talking about as being normal?
