Something may need to be lubed in the steering column. Not sure. Is a part on it's way out. The pwr. steering level is good. I had the car running and was turning the wheel to the left and to the right and heard this old wood floor sound. Like stepping on a worn out section or an old door in need out lubrication. I was thinking of putting in on jack stands and playing it by ear. Could anyone else narrow in down a little better as to what I should be lubing.

Identify where the creak is coming from. Inside the cabin or outside the cabin.

If it's outside the cabin, it's probably outer tie rod ends.
If they have Zirc fittings you can **** them if not, expect to pay @ $15 a piece. + $40 or so for an alignment and whatever else needs replaced.

Could be balljoints too, I suppose.

It's outside the car and inside. Same noise just different locations. The cars suspension is stock, right down to the struts. Did Zirc come from the factory? Or is it aftermarket? Thanks for the reply.
