Help with ECU!

I was told I have a 49-state ECU on my car right with the LPM chip attached...someone said to block off the EGR and use a non-cali ECU...if im not setting any codes off right now since my EGR is non fuctional(hooked up, but no vacumm is going to it), does this mean I have a non cali ECU on it right now, or just that the LPM is bypassing it somehow?

Umm...the Serial Number onthe Computer Itself? If so, ill post it up later, going to get a a 'Non- Thread stripped from EGR valve Intake' from the pick-a-part...

its an L0S, you wont have any codes if the egr is hooked or not
