I tried to change my wires yetserday and I had a problem with removing it through the plenum. I had to brake the clips of one end to get it to slide under it. So my question is do you have to remove the plenum to change wires because I COULD NOT get my replacement to fit under there so I ran them around?

I just changed my plugs and wires this weekend, tried at first with the intake on, then agreed it would be better and more professional with it off. I put Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm wires on and even the stock ones wouldnt pull through the lower right corner of the intake. The intake is actually very easy to take off, some 12mm bolts, ten 10mm bolts and a couple coolant and vaccuum hoses, not bad at all and I'd never done one. I highly recommend removing the intake, it makes it easier, you learn more, it gives better results and it doesnt take but a couple hours (mine from shutdown to startup including putting away tools and cleaning up was exactly five hours and I'm not a mechanic)
