I need one, where would be the best place to pick one up? Also, should I go with an aftermarket one or stick to factory? Any thoughts would be appreciated!! Thanks

I would stick with a rebuilt factory pump form A1 Cardone or other remanufacturer. They use the factory casing and replace the seals and bearings. The case half looks like new. You only replace the front case half with the impeller, shaft, seals and bearings. They come with a gasket.

Here in Texas, I can get the rebuilt pumps at local auto supplies (O'Reilly, NAPA and AutoZone) for less than $70 plus core. Just call around to your local shops. It will probably be a 1-2 day special order, but let them pay the freight. You usually get a lifetime warranty with the rebuild also.

You didn't mention whether you had an MTX or ATX. The pumps are different for each. The A1 Cardone part numbers are show below.

3.0L: A1 Cardone 57-1373, O’Reilly (NAPA), $61.45+tax
3.2L: A1 Cardone 57-1458, O’Reilly (NAPA), $67.99+tax
