I got an EATC from a Sable with a green display and hard buttons. All the connections are the same and it powers up and the buttons respond properly, but it is only blowing through the defrost vents.

Is there some rewiring I need to do to this to get it to work properly, or could something be wrong with the unit itself ?

Thank You :hail:

it sounds like either a vacuum leak or the eatc is not the correct one. check the vacuum tube, make sure they are tight. if thats not it, take them off then press the buttons on the eatc and listen for the actuators. it should pop and click. give ya a start anyways...

so it should be a plug and play operation like I assumed at least right ? I'll play around more in the morning ;)

got a new engine in my beast and I am working on the body now. It was pretty rusty but most of it will be covered by the body molding on the 91.

Here is a gallery only a SHO owner could appreciate:

You were right. The blue line was not tight. I jammed them in real tight and it works fine now. And I can see my butons in the dark now - woohoo. And I can read them in the day :)
