Help! I can remove gen 1 consoles with my eyes
closed but am baffled on getting one out of a
'94. I've loosend screws under the mat in the
storage area and under the cupholder and I've
loosened the two nuts under the CD cavity. What
else is there?
thanks,

You have to remove the upper console (the part from the cupholder to the cassette storage) by pulling it up starting at the front of the armrest(there are clips holding it to the lower console), and then a little backwards to disconnect the lighter.

Once that's out, it will expose the remaining two screws holding the lower console to the floor pan bracket, and the two screws above where the cassette storage pocket was.
