So last night I was changing the shift **** and one of the wires for the over-drive button made contact with the shaft on the gear selector and sparked. Now my tach doesn't work, the needle on the temp guage stays in the 'N' range, and the gas guage always reads at half tank.
I checked the fuses under the dash and everything was fine. I had to go to work so I didn't get to check any underhood fuses. The car runs fine but my guages just don't work.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :thankyou:

I don't know if you've already resolved this issue, but I had the same issue today. It ended up being fuse #18 blowing.
