Guys,
First of all, I want thank all those who helped me on my last problem, I finally got the car running and it turns out to be bad connection on the coil(the VBAT is loose).
Today my the ATX shifter would not move out of Park, I mean physically the shifter would not move out of "P", I just drove to lunch and had to get a ride back to work.
Please help me if anybody had seem this problem before.
Thanks in advance,
Chien

Been there IT SUCKS!!!
On the break peddle there is a connector that is for the break lights and to desengage the lock or the ATX shifter.
I pulled mine off cleaned connections and was able to push the break peddle in and shift!!!!

Querky little buggers these SHO's!!!!

Hmmm brake switch....I didnt think about that one. I thougth that little plastic thing in the shifter was a POS too. Push the button, and it doesnt unlock the shifter.

Let me know how this turns out.

thanks to dar314, it was indeed the switch, a tiny piece of garbage was stuck there, probably blown there when I turned on the AC on MAX. This is THE place for SHO answers!
Thanks again to dar314!

Also for future reference, if you place the ingition switch on the first click forward, you don't even have to depress the brake pedal. This is a safety feature that was designed acccordingly for this particular type of problem. Not all cars are like this. I know that on my old foreign car, it had a seperate key operated lock that disengaged the shifter from the latching mechanism.
