Hey guys, i was driving at 60-65ish and went to shift and i started hearing a knock. its knocking at all rpms, i can feel it in the clutch and the shifter. when in 2nd gear the car will **** foward, as if i quickly apply the brakes and release them. the oil light was coming on at idle. i am going to put in some oil when it cools a bit and i will repost with results when i do it. meanwhile, any advice is GREATLY appreciated!

oil light indicates that maybe you need rod bearings asap. You could have a problem with the clutch or the straps on the plate but the oil light is the red flag for me.

don't drive it or you will be changing the engine you may have to change it at this point. You most likely spun a rod bearing. If you drive it anymore you will cause damage to the crankshaft if you haven't already.

If it's close to my noise, you bet it's a rod bearing issue and should not be started or driven. In my video the head had also cracked and vented, so that's why the noise is much louder. That's all been dealt with.

It's unfortunate.

Don't start it, until you get a new set of rod bearings in it.
