I am on my 2nd SHO now. I had a 2012 and now I have a 2011. Both SHO's have had an issue. Upon cranking them cold in the morning, or when it has sat for a few hours, there is a slight "knock". It goes away quickly, but they both do it. Well, not the 2012 because it's totaled and probably in a junk yard 
When I drive it during the day and running around town, no noise. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue and if you have...what is it? I keep the oil changed as I should and use synthetic oil. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks! BTW...the SHO I have now has 97k miles.
