help... locked out... slim advice

First off I have lived all over the country because my father was in the navy and yes I did live far enough south that I can say it.

I am a locksmith and I see what people do to their car trying to get in with a coat hanger. After I unlock a car there is no evidence I was ever there. the going rate in your area is about $35-45 last time I checked.

Or AAA membership, it will pay for itself.

I can get the rear door unlocked for free much quicker than a locksmith can do his tricks. Last time it took me all of 3 seconds.

I too have lived all around the country and I've never known of a locksmith to charge less than $50 unless it's a friend. time = $ If you read everything you'd see he is low on $, and $0 is better than $50.

As far as prying the top of the door open, I'd do it to the front passenger seat, as the unlock button is MUCH easier to push than it is to pull the pop-up thing. Just be sure to watch that weather stipping.

got it! the screw driver in the back door handle was the winner.

i gave up several times, went back to slim jims and wedges with no luck. then tried the passenger back door again, back slot, 30-45 degree angle and found something that clinked and the door opened up. scary.

now i will make another set of keys and find the door code.

btw, if anyone ever gets locked out, with the hood open and the car running... pulling the front wiring harness off of the left side of the intake crossover cuts it off immediately. (looking at the motor from the front of the car)
