I have noticed that my cooling fan is not running. I have tested the IRCM and found the relay to be bad, I have replaced it with a new one. But still no fan. It tested good, when the fan was given power it runs fine. I have tested the sensor its fine. But when I put power to pin 14 the fans go on and run. I'v tryed replacing the ecc and tested the wire between and both are good. Anyone have a idea? Thanks.

Sounds like the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor isn't telling the computer the engine is hot. Does the wire from the EEC to the IRCM for the fan ever get Power?

You didn't specify whay year your SHO is, so my thread that includes How to troubleshoot the fan circuit may or may not apply to your exact car.
