This place has been dead since the cruise,
...so everyone post something stupid so we all have a reason to watch the mn section again.:hdance::angelnot:

Ill start; I got my blue car running again last weekend, took it over to a freinds house to show it off. when i went to leave it was raining and i let the clutch out a little to fast so it started to wheel hop. apparently the crusty exhaust didnt appreciate that and something gave, so i got to drive it home with an open ypipe.

OK, now somebody else go!

Ok, I put my 94 in strage last weekend up in isanti. Also, I moved half of ny house around now that I don't have a room mate. Ummm...... I got another nitro powered rc truck, a new couch, that's all I can think of right now.

Although, if anyone wants to, I would like to hit the junk yard sometime this weekend. Didn't go last time since my buddy had to bail, havnt heard from him since.

hmm well i have been driving the sho since the meet. there is a clunk in the front end when i reverse out of my garage and crank the wheel and there is a bump that i go over at the same time. lol iam guessing the sway bar is just giving up cuz iam soo low....other then that its been quite drama free. i really want to wash it and clean it up nice but the weather succks, on the other hand iam goin to be working on the audi on friday. i got a old cat for cheap so iam goin to gut it and put it in as a test pipe. also got some new headlights for cheap for it also. so prolly goin to put them in and adjust them.
that is all.

also do they make a really small muffler thats not going to burn out like a glass pack. i put in a resonator/glass pack 18in i think and its starting to get loud again. i LOVED the sound right when i put it in. like i have never heard a sho sound so good. it was such a low tone. kinda like a subaru. but after a week it was back to normal like this.

This weekend I'll be putting the Mustang in storage and getting out the SHO. Hopefully there won't be any issues with the SHO from having it sit for a few months. Battery was disconnected and I put Sta-bil in the tank.

Check with MG's Exhaust on the east side, behind Burger King next to Val's. They've done exhaust work for me. Great service, very reasonable.

apparently the crusty exhaust didnt appreciate that and something gave, so i got to drive it home with an open ypipe.

My first car was an 85 Bonneville. Pathetic 3.8 V6. Bought it in 93 with about 40k miles on it. After driving it through several Minnesota winters the exhaust was pretty rusted, unbeknownst to me. Driving home from my sister's house in the Twin Cities I drove through an intersection that was on a 50mph rated highway. Well, that intersection should have been rated for 30mph because I caught air with the Bonneville as I drove through it. When I landed the engine roared like a beast. The exhaust had broken off just in front of the muffler.

On the way home an RX-7 tried racing me as I accelerated from a light. Apparently my recently customized exhaust sounded aggressive enough to catch the ear of the driver.

That was the same Bonneville that had the front shock/strut/whatever break completely off at the bottom on the front driver's side. Had to drive it half an hour home with the shock scraping on the highway and the front end a-bouncin'.

At least it was RWD and fun in the snow with the BF Goodrich Radial T/As I had on it. 205/70/14s FTW.

the SHO has been getting miles put on it by my GF, its weird she is starting to like driving it

the starter would not start the SHO anymore 2 weeks ago and ended up melting some important part inside the solenoid and smelling really bad. the subaru battery i had in there crapped out the couple days it was mega cold in the morning and i opened my rear pass door for the first time in a while and there is a hole in the rocker panel...time to part out?

got a new sweet sounding exhaust for the STi, new rotors, pads, flush fluid in there as well, and that horrible stripped caliper bolt. spark plugs for it are going in this weekend along with a block heater and prob put the stainless lines on as well if i have time

still am mad i missed possibly the biggest SHO cruise in MN to date.

This weekend I am driving down to Fall Creek WI to pick up a set of wheels, springs, struts, and an alternator for the 94 I bought a couple weeks ago. Then in a few weeks it's becoming rustless and getting painted :)

:squint:Absolutely NOT. Its paid for. Tell Kelly to keep enjoying it. You could get a couple more years out of it.

Last week I got some winter tires and put them on a set of slicers and threw 'em on. But my lug nuts were too tall so I can't put the center caps on. :frown:

About a month ago I got an 88 F-150 from my "step-grandpa" and he just gave it to me. So I fixed that up and put new valve cover gaskets on it. Apparently it had been leaking oil for a long time. So I had a minor fire on the driver side valve cover. Everything is okay though, thankfully. So One that gets on the road that will be the winter beater and the SHO will go into storage. This is also my first time posting on the Forum...woop woop!!!
