No power antenna but it was made in May of 1988. Maybe an early one.....who knowsVery Nice! Bit of an odd combination of options. Usually the manual EATC comes on bare cars (like my original 89), but this one has the moonroof, leather, keyless entry, and it looks like a power antenna switch.

Bring it to the convention in September so we can all drool in person!
here's the build sheet. In the upper left corner it says May 1988May of 1988? Really? What is the Serial Number of the VIN (the digits at the end).
In 89, there weren't many options, and they were all a la carte, so you will see cars with different pieces.
When I bought my new black 89, the dealer had three, all black. The other two had auto EATC and a power antenna, neither of which I wanted. I bought the plain one with no additional options.
My white 89 only had the leather interior.
Now, my red one was ordered by a previous SHO guy, Dan Vinke. It has virtually everything except for the premium stereo, which he later installed.

Yes you are right, just the paper was from May of 1988 LOL....5/89 ....254608 last 6 digits of the VIN. So kind of a late 89. I was just so excited to find the build sheet I never even looked at the door card.In looking at it, your build sequence looks like 254600. Mine, with a 1/89 build, is 186866.
I suspect that the May 88 is the date of the Build Sheet document. Check your door panel, yours looks like a late 89 build. If you don't have the polished trim strips on your door cards, it's a late build.
The door handle is chrome t....about it for shiny stuff on the doorsYou probably don't have the polished trim on the door cards. My 6/89 White didn't. I was curious when they cheaped out (!) with that trim.
