OK When I accelerate really hard and get the RPM's above say 4500, I notice that radiator fluid drips onto my gas pedal. Yesterday I did something stupid, and redlined my SHO in 1st, 2nd, and almost in 3rd, (I stopped giving it **** around 90 and slowed down) and then I noticed my foot was sliding on the gas pedal, it was covered in radiator fluid.

I know this could be a sign that my heater core is bad, however it only does this when the RPMs get high and it is not continual, could this be a hose and if so how could I check it? Are the hoses easier to change or while I have it open should I also change the core? Please tell me I do not have to take out the dashboard for this.... The last time I tried something like that I ended up with a 600-dollar repair bill from the garage where I had it put back together!

Way more likely that you have a heater hose leaking at the heater core connections at the firewall. When these leak, the coolant sprays into the opening in the firewall.

Real heater core leaks drain out the AC condensate drain hole below the lower AC evaporator inlet line. Of course, this applies as long as there aren't any holes in the heater housing.

Use a flashlight and an inspection mirror to closely inspect the hose connections at the firewall. Pay particular attention to the bottom while using the mirror.

Let us know what you find.

Nice Avatar Rob!

I did not notice any such rad fluid when my heater core was gone, but this may not mean anything. I guess where the heater core is leaking makes the difference.
