HEATER CORE PROBLEM SOLVED!

Problem solved! I bypassed the heater core altogether, so I just won't have a heater for a little while till I get someone else to do it. hehehe

I'll do so much on my own vehicle, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna' pull the dash and do the A/C and all kinds of crap! I'll let some poor unfortunately mechanic do it before I do! ForGET that!

Well, down in Texas, I doubt you'll need the heat that often...... The AC on the other hand...well, probably best to wait and pay someone other fool to do it. I know a guy....$300 labor and about 6 hrs....so that is one less thing to weigh on my mind.

This guy lives next door to me......I am looking at his house as I type. Let me re-verify that price for you. I know that he did a job a few weeks back on a Ford where the dash has to come off, and it only took them from about 7 in the morning till around noon. One thing though.....they do not do air conditioning.....they'll vent it for you, but then you'll have to go elsewhere to have it recharged.
