Uhhhhh, I hate to be the one to tell you, but you have to remove the entire dash. Well, actually you just need to swing it out of the way, but that makes is sound a lot simpler than it is. Then you have to remove the heater box which also requires disconnecting the A/C lines from the evaporator.

I found this link by using the forum search function. It seems like a pretty thorough write-up.

Best thing to do is put restricters on the intake ****** to the heater core, at high rpms it keeps the high flow of water from bursting the heater core. It happened on late model mustangs all the time and on the CHP coupes and they ended up lasting the life of the car where the non restricted heater core mustangs popped at 100-150K miles.

1) cuss at the fact that coolant fog is inside the car

2) Drive to the local dealership for repair

3) cry at your $900 repair bill...

In all seriousness, I live in a climate where the heater isn't really an issue, which it is for you. I just bypassed mine and suffered through the winter...

Good luck with whatever you decide.
