I like the HUD you found there man I would just like the MPH and Tach at the same time. One that note. Anyone reading this know if I could put in a HUD from a GM product IE GTP, Buick, or Old C.Supreme. I was looking at the Junkyard for parts from my budies Monte and noticed them. Anyone know if they wire to the trans or the computer and beyond that if it would even read from a Ford?

That thing is cool. If you could know your speed over 140, not that I do it or condone it

and having it right in front of you, that'd be awesome!

Man, I really like that sports VSD one. I'm going to have to find out how much they cost. As my luck will have it it will probably be much more than I can afford.

EDIT:Surprisingly it's not nearly as much as I feared, only $215 which isn't bad when you consider white faced gauges are $120.

Any one out there with a GTP know how the lines run for the HUD and if I could sneak one into a SHO? I can't get it out of my head I know the radio HUD would be lost and that sucks but if it is compatable should be able to get the Tach and Spd wired in and mounted, even if I have to buy a junkyard dash to test it on

Can anyone get me a diagram for the EEC-IV main wiring harness? I want to find out which wire I have to tap. Thanx.

The GM huds are run off of their PCM. If you have a GM without HUD and you want to add it, you need the dash harness and the PCM from the car you got the HUD from. The defi might be cool, but I don't know if the VSS that is on the SHO will work. The defi model requires a speedo output wire for the speed to work. The tach shouldn't be a problem though.

The VSS is an electrical sender, it sends pulses to the PCM, I just need to know which wire it is at the main harness. I want to contain all the electrical within the passenger cabin.
