headlights

I need to know if anyone knows or has some headlights that are clear with the black back ground and clear lenses. I need them to match the black tail lights ive got. Ive seen some on the 92-95 sho on here that has them. I think the car is black. If this is you? will you please tell me where i can find them i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time .

Are you talking about this? If so, I took my headlights apart and painted the inside black. I used nightshades on my tails and corners.

That murdered out black SHO is NASTY! I want it... provided the cams are welded...

Would not painting black the reflective tunnel for the headlights have an effect on the pattern produced?

She certainly is very distinctive with everything black out. Up here in BC that would not pass a safety inspection, I suspect.

Did you also polish up the lenses? I had that done when the rest of the body was in the restoration shop and they came remarkably clean and clear, particularly considering how yellow and scratched up they had been.

I think it does change the pattern of light unless you do a projector install. Not to change the subject but the fog lights you have, do they have removable bulbs, or are they sealed system. I'm trying to install HID fog lights without cutting up the nose of the car, but I haven't found fog lights small enough that support a H3-55 or any normal bulb that I can switch to HID.

the 99s have that part black from the factory... the part that controls the pattern the light produces is the reflector behind the bulb...
