How about the other peices of the set. Any chance they will fit in the center parking light spaces? Did the other peices shown come with the set?

Those have potential to look really good

You know I've always thoughts about these exact headlights working in a gen 1. I just don't have a gen. 1 so I never tried it. Cool to know it works!

Great job! Looks awesome!

I think you should buy one of the police grilles that are on ebay right now, that would complement those headlights nice.

thanks guys i like them i have a custom grill for them sadly that car got totaled rear ended by a ford explorer going 50 i guess i had better brakes. You canfit the other lights but you have to cut the fender and the grille because of the angle on the marker light the sho markers are flat but it can be done my next will have all the lights when i get done i will post more pics.
Yes the set on ebay comes with all 6 lights or you can get just the headlights by themselves. There down to $114.00 for the whole set on ebay right now.

Looking forward to more instructions and pix! Now these lights are plug and play as far as the electrical connnections are concerned? In this aftermarket housing it includes a standard light and a projector fog light? Does this bolt directly up to the factory mount? Thanks for sharing all your info! :hail: :thumb:

I bought it in alaska where i live when i bought it it looked like this.
c280scd.jpg

After 6 months of work it looked like this.
7a0escd.jpg

it had 17x7.5 spider wheels with 235/40/17 dunlop sp sport tires and a cobra rear spoiler and 2 1/2 inch lowering spirings on the front. The paint is cadillac escalade white with blue pearl sprayed over it.The ford emblem was shaved in the grille and backed with a mesh insert this is after the accident insurance totaled it.I just bought a black 90.

Sorry to hear the car is no longer with us. It looked great. I too am waiting for the installation notes, since I've been wanting to do something like this for a couple of years. I even started harassing one of the aftermarket light makers to build them, to no avail.

Are you going to do the same thing to the '90?

2 questions.....

What kind of bulbs do these headlights use? and how soon are the instructions going to be posted?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I am decided on doing this mod. Hopefully, thanks to this thread, my 89 will not only have a rod shifter and a Midwest Ypipe, it will also have a nice new set of headlights.
