headlight switch connection burnt

my dash lights would sometimes not work. removed headlight switch, harness connection was burnt in the middle. wire was loose. went to junk yard, 2 other Taurus/Sables same problem. I can't believe there was no recall on this problem. talk about a fire hazard!

There is a TSB on them. 97-15-7

Not a warranty or recall but a TSB. I would assume you can still get the parts.

TSB's are their way of saying "UH-OH" something is wrong, ...But we "might" or "might not" fix it on our dime... If not its your dime!
