I'm wanting to restore the look of my headlights, the ones on there are just sandblasted, foggy, and just plain worn out. I want the clear corners, but I don't want to end up in a situation with nice, new clear corners and beat up headlights. Anyone know the best place to get some replacements? Foglights will have to go, too.

Also, I haven't gotten in to figure out just what's wrong, but my passenger side headlight assembly sits lower than it should. Anyone hear of this or seen it before? I'm assuming it's just adjustment needed.

Thanks for your input...
Ben

Welcome to the board !!!!

As RI-SHO stated .... if your thinking on going with new corners, get the new lenses. If the headlight assembly can't be adjusted ...... the car might of been hit before.

I just got through doing the fishtank mod and while I was doing that decided to replace the headlights. I got them from CarParts Wholesale for $78 each. I did a search for Sable lights to find them. They look nice. Here are some pics of before (first pic) and after (the next 3 pics).

At that price, I am probably going to replace my headlights when I do my fishtank mod now thumb

EDIT: I did a search on the "SHO" head lights and they want $173.95 (P/N 311174RAT/311174LAT)

The Sable headlights(as stated above)$77.95 (P/N 7861/7862).

Are these the same lights.... From the pic they look to be the same. Anyone know why there is such a price difference??

the fishtanks are the difference. the sho headlight come with then the sables do not. i know it cost about 200 bucks for a set of dinkly lenses that do nothing but wouldn't it look funny to not replace them? shrug

If you look at the pictures posted above, the Sable lights that SHOTX ordered have the fishtanks. If I understand what you are saying correctly. shrug

It looks to me like he may have reused the fishtanks. if you put your thumb over the headlight assy's in the before and after pics, they look the same...

Actually, I thought the new right fishtank looked shinier. shrug Also, I have not seen my SHO in a while, but I thought that it was all one piece. At least, thats what the pictures show on www.carpartswholesale.com showed. shrug

The Sable lights didn't come with the fishtanks as mentioned above but the directions for the mod mentions taking them off. They are only held on to the headlight assembly by two screws and a clip. The before picture doesn't really show how much clearer they were than the old headlights so I didn't mind reusing them. They go pretty well with the new lights though wouldn't you think?
