Hey, I have been reading around and trying to figure out how to 'carefully' remove the headlights. I wouldnt be surprised if its a simple thing to do, but I want to make sure and do it right cause the other lenses are clearer and look sexy. And also I want to know if you can remove the headlight but leave the black mounting piece that holds it from behind because with the others there cracked.
Any help would be very helpful!

Those clips are much simpler to remove with the proper C-clip expander tool. I did not say easy, but just simpler. You will have to remove the battery and possibly the air filter box for clear access to the clips. Don't be surprised if one or more of the clips snap when expanding them. They can be purchased at local auto parts stores in the red, HELP brand blister packs.
