I have a 1998 Taurus SHO. And as all
Sho owners know, it's time to get rid of the foggy yellow lights. The only thing is when I get new ones, I really like the 99 black lights, So what I'm getting at is I am reading online and it's saying the 99 lights fit some 98 and all 99. And my lights are so foggy I can't see if they are the chrome or back. And they've been yellow so long I forget. So what I want to know is what is different between the two fitment wise, is there a way to tell?

Shouldn't be any difference in fitment, exact same everything except color of housing.

This statement is correct: exact same everything except color of housing. All years are the same 96-99 only difference are inside of housing 96, 97 and early 98 being chrome while late 98 and 99 being black.
I put the black ones in my 97 silver and like them alot. :sun:
