Hey everybody, I have gts headlight covers and I was wondering if anyone knows of any bulbs that would shine through the covers better. Right now it is nearly impossible to see at night with them on. And also does anyone have any pics of sho's with hyper white bulbs in them?? Thanks

I feel your pain. I have the lund blackouts and have no visibility at night. I tried every bulb that I got my habd on to no luck. Did that stop me? **** no! I went and replaced the useless foglights with a pair of Cyberwhite driving lights from wall-mart for $40.00. Man, they work better than headlights. I hooked them up so they work on the factory wiring, and I didn't have to splice or anything. Works great. Just need to ddo soemthing about taillights now. eek!

FYI, I think those headlight (or any light for that matter) Blackouts are illegal after dark. No wonder why you can't see anything, that's not what they are for. Although I will say the look cool during the day wink

Please for your own safety as well as that of others, TAKE THE COVERS OFF AT NIGHT!!! You're not only covering up your headlights, you're covering up your turn signals, and front reflectors. I'd rather be able to see and have others see me than have my car look cool.

C'mon guys, let's not be lazy. I know that GTS covers slide over the headlights. Just stop when it gets dark, walk to the front of your car and take them off. Like getting undressed for bed.

Now, for taillights, dump the crappy covers. Get Nightshades. It's a spray-on tint. You control how dark you want to go by applying how many shades you want. The best thing about it is the dual-benefit of being able to tint your 3rd brake light as well. Dual benefit beacuse it looks a heckuvalot better and it doesn't stand out to cops. Everyone notices you have covers when your 3rd brake light lights up nice and bright, while your regular taillights are darker. Not a problem with the spray-on stuff. boink
