head removal

Just checking, saw on V8SHO.com that you need to remove the cams, then you can remove the heads. Is this right, or has someone come up with a better way to do this. Im junking my silver 98 and a forum member needs my heads. Thanks

Sorry, meant do you need to remove cams to get at the head bolts. No, my motor is good. I was trying to keep the cams in place with removing them to get at the head bolts. Though maybe a crows foot to get at them. Had an idea you could get the main timing chain, but wasnt sure.
