Hi before i got my 90 sho it sat for like 2 years in my buddys driveway, he got it from some barn of some old lady who wanted it gone. Now i know the car runs, i heard it run for a little bit about a year ago and it sounded pretty good. The car is at my house now, and it has no antifreeze in the radiator, and the hose was off... When my buddy got the car the top of the motor was apart, and he didnt know why. Im thinking maybe this thing blew a head gasket and they were in the process of changing it. Are these motors bad with head gaskets??? the motor is together now, and i havent started it yet, but i think this weekend im gonna fire it up. ALSO this guy took the tranny bolts out and left the tranny disconnected from the motor, idk if this thing needs a clutch or the tranny is tacoed, how much is a tranny rebuild? The car came with brand new in box intake gaskets also, and i think i may pull my intake off to polish it, and see what the motor looks like. I belive this car only has about 100,000 miles on it, and it looks like before it sat it was in pretty good shape.
