Josh's HD pressure plate does not increase clamp load, so no, it will not, most likely.

Agreed. It is essentially designed to even out the clamp load and fix the inherant pressure plate strap/ rivet failure.

What Josh said he runs in his blower car is a Clutch Masters Dual-Diaphragm Pressure plate, along with a 9-puck Fibertuff disc.
SPEC Increases clamp load in their pressure plates by changing the pivot point on the stock pressure plate, but this is only a half-way solution. It does increase clamp load when the clutch is new, but once the disc begins to wear the clamp load falls off much more dramatically than a stock PP does, and it will actually fall well below the stock PP clamp load.
