I just finished doing my plugs, plug wires, plug well seals, and valve cover gaskets. I fired her up and everything is running great. Only question I have is when I started it, it revved up higher than normal right at startup. After that, it went to idle like it should, I'm just curious about why the strong startup?

If so, the EEC was simply resetting the idle.
