Hi All - I rejoined the SHO ranks about 3wks ago, picked up a 2012 silver loaded (except PP) from Mac Haik in Georgetown, TX. I LOVE this car - everything except the too-small and slightly inconvenient cupholders, obviously no big deal. I traded in my 71k 2008 Taurus Ltd, back to the same dealer, same salesman, and left in the SHO, all in one afternoon. Probably should have waited for the 2013, but hey, the '12 was there on the lot with 149miles, and TBH, I'm a little leery of MyFordTouch on the '13. They also had one with the Performance Package, but no Nav - but I wanted Nav, and I think I'll be happier without PP - just a little more comfortable ride on these pockmarked Texas roads.
I previously owned a '96 SHO, (which my wife drove), and used to hang around the V8SHO forum. Anyone else a holdover from those days? Contrary to popular opinion, we both really liked that '96 SHO, btw.
Oh, and I also bought my 16yr old a 2001 Crown Vic LX w/HPP - we're becoming quite the Ford family. Wife is in a Mazda CX-9 these days - fairly closely related.
