in the midst of the first 60k at 69,457 miles on my new 90 oxford white. i was removing the old plugs. number 6 plug kept turning and turning so i thoughti was screwed.....turns out the hex seperated from the ceramic and kept spining... so i had no way of getting the plugout.. i finaly slipped the hex/nut totally off and out and banged a 14mm on this tiny lip and muscled it out carefully while my buddy tapped on the to of the ratched. ive never had this happen to me in all 20 or so times ive done plugs on shos or any other car in that matter.... the plugs were original motorcrafts. just thought ide let people know that this does happen and if you think the plug is just spinning cuz its stripped it might not be.
