I just put the Halos in as well....you do not have to remove any of the lkighting for these. The slide right over your existing gauge and have their own light source.

It does LOOK like the engine is really, hot but I don't think I put the needle back on right because when the car is not running the needle goes all the way to the top. He's right. Don't touch the stock setup. Just slide these right over.

Did you actually take the needles off? I just slid all three gauges over the needles....all my gauge needles are the same as when I started....

You might have swapped the temp and fuel needles around... I think the counterweights are different. My fuel needle droops down when I have less than 3/4 tank and I think I broke my temp gauge (have another temp gauge tho)...

Oh well.. one day I'll take the dash off (again) and fix the fuel level.. put the needle on a little low.

I paid 78.99 total (that was the cost of the gauges and shipping) They go on SUPER easy. They just slide over your existing gauges. Then just splice the power into the power (red with yellow stripe) on your headlight swithc and run a ground and you are all set. The most time consuming part is taking the dash apart.
