I've always had a problem with my guages being dark, but it hasn't been a problem until I had to start driving this car to work after I lost my truck keys. I've replaced the dimmer, and the lights dim, but this is on full bright here. Are there bulbs burned out, or is that just the crappy sppedhut white guages blocking the light?

Those might be indiglo gauges. Do they have a power wire coming off of them? I think they are supposed to light up. Either way, it looks like you have light coming from behind but the gauges are causing the problem.

I'm not sure. I have a few pics from when I swapped the eatc that may help.

Not sure if that helps. Are those overlays just stuck on? I imagine it would be a pain to get them off. I do have another set of guages just chilling in the garage. I'm thinking about just throwing them in, but I'd like to get this one sorted out.

Some of them are just overlays and some are replacement gauges. The spare cluster that you have are overlays. I have the same ones.

I found this online of some different Speedhut gauges in another SHO. I'll bet if you remove the outer bezel you'll see power wires that need to be hooked up.

That makes sense. I'll take a look around and snap some pics of what I find. Speedo is bouncing so I can probably get that oiled while I'm in there.

Went to pull the cluster out today. Didn't realize how involved it was and I only had about an hour. I'll probably attempt it later. Manual days remove the key cylinder? And I found another random connector behind the dash. Any idea what these are?
