I just wanted to give a huge thanks to Greg when he helped me out when no one else would!! He was selling the valve adjustment tools and a set of new shims for a complete 60K along with some used shims out of his own SHO. I had been waiting(on a waiting list)for a valve adjustment kit from SHO Shop for a month and a half, almost two months, with no luck at all. The first time that I talked to Tom G. he assured me that he had a kit ready and I even opted for the 2 day shipping so I could get it waaayyy before the holiday-4th of July(I had to go with SS since Josh was preparing for the convention). But when I never received my kit in the specified 2 days, I called back and have just been getting the run-around ever since, saying that I was 2nd on a waiting list? headbang I had even tried to e-mail Josh at SHO Nut to see if there were any kits available, but I never got any replies back. The valve adjustment was the only thing left to do for my full 60K and I have not driven my SHO since May 17th! cry As it seemed like my last resort for any chance to get a set of valve adjustment tools and enough shims to do a full valve adjustment, I asked Greg if there was ANY way that I could just buy the kit from him outright, instead of going through all the bidding on e-bay and having the chance to get out-bidded; which would be expected(then I would have been out of luck AGAIN)!! He agreed and now I will FINALLY get to do my valve adjustment thumb and get my SHO back on the road :D !!
Thanks again Greg, you are a really great guy, and I really appreciate what you have done for me and I am sure others are thankful too. I also give you props for starting the SHO Forum back in '99 to help out everyone else with their SHO's!! thumb

Sorry Fred, but Craig sounded like he was really in a jam. It was amazing, the shims had 7 bids within 1 hour very early Sunday morning!

Craig, your package is on the shipping dock. I'll email you the tracking numbers when they give them to me this afternoon.

Good luck with the 60K.

hahahahaha!

No worries Greg. :)

Craig, if you don't end up using them when you're done (new shims left over), let me know. As for the 60k tools, I wanted the pick only (I really like that style vs. the snap-on ones I have, and I don't have a spare OTC type yet). That's desired too. :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the update Greg, sounds good to me!! As for the tracking #'s you can either e-mail 'em to me or PM to me, either way!?

Fred, I will definately let you know on any left over shims that I should have after I am done!!
