Hey folks, I'm new to this forum with the recent purchase of a 2010 SHO. I've been eye-balling the SHO since it was introduced (4th GEN) in 2010, but my days of buying new cars are over. And I got a great deal on the 2010, with only 31,000 on the clock.

The SHO got my wife out of her gas-guzzling Sequoia. I gently remind her that the Taurus is for her, the SHO is for me...

My other "hot rod" is my 2001 F250 Platinum. I've done a few things to that 7.3...it really is fun to drive.

I'm looking forward to learning all of the ins-and-outs of this gen SHO. Over the years I've found great value in the online communities, and I look forward to paying it forward with my subsequent contributions.

So the SHO will be your DD? Do you plan to keep it stock? F250, nice.

The SHO will be the DD for the wife. Thanks for the compliment on the F250. I bought that for a work truck, as I had my '05 F150 - Magna Charged - for my DD, but I enjoyed the F250, and got better mileage, so I sold the 150, and allocated resourced toward the 250. It's probably one of the nicest Platinums out there, especially for her age.

I'll keep the SHO stock for now. Again, that's got all the get-up that the wife needs. In researching this forum and from experience, I think an extended warranty would be prudent, with all all the systems on board the SHO. So that too would preclude any serious mods. Just keeping it safe, reliable, and 100% mechanically sound is my goal for this car. Maybe I'll get a little crazy and go with a K&N drop-in. :woo-hoo:
