Got some passes in before the track closes

One track in Michigan was open today for the last day of 2016. So headed up to Lapeer Dragway to get some passes on my SHO in the "as delivered, no tuning not even a change in tire pressure" baseline data. Tuning will start later to get the car ready for 2017 (ordered tuner and 3 bar map sensor today).

This car is very consistent. Should be a good bracket car. I think I am getting the hang of launching AWD, but miss the smoky burnout and smell of burnt rubber! The first time I took it out was warmer, and I couldn't get better than a 14.1 at just over 100mph.

Today temps were the 40's, much better 60' times today and a best of 13.54 at 102.45- later got a 13.55 at 103.73.

Heading out next week for an annual get together with one of my Mustang clubs (www.mustangcollective.com). This is our 11th annual Buckeye Brawl weekend. We rent the track in Thompson, OH on Friday and spend the day drag racing. Then the rest of the weekend is just time with friends (and beer of course). We have a dinner at one of the local restaurants on Thursday night, and Saturday a bonfire at one of the local club member's house.

This will be my first time running the car with a tune. I am on version 6 with Torrie at this point, unless he sees a tweak in the data log I sent him yesterday. No idea what the car will run, so it is going to make the dial in time tough for me (one of the trophies is set up like a bracket race, except it is all on your dial in, no need to beat the dial in of the guy in the next lane and it is based upon how close you come to your time - so if you dial in at 14.01 and are running 13.01 you have to play with the launch and throttle to hit the higher time to win that one)
