Excellent!

I can't figure out how you took the vid though, you won't allow anyone to drive your SHO and I can't imagine you allowing anyone to drive that close to your car while shooting. Must be an illusion. lol

thanks i appreciate all the comments guys. i was looking through rims for a long time to find exactly what i wanted.

i got the rims from waukegan tire which is a local tire shop in grayslake they got the rims from a place in st. louis. i paid 989.99 for the rims, tires, installation, balancing, 4 year warranty on the tires and 2 year road side. if i recall the rims by them selves are $90 a piece. http://www.msrwheels.com

as for the brakes i know they look like :vomit: im rebuilding some pbr's 2 piston calipers and the 96 upgrade ill post pics when i put them on. if you guys think the rims look good wait till you see what im doing with the calipers to really set off the rims.

yeah mang get some tire chine mang! Also, isnt 245/45 a bit tall? I think I'd have gone with some 40's but, they look sweet nonetheless. Good choice!

I am so going to order some, are they a matte finish or glossy black?

believe it or not they are gray :oogle: when you order them ask for the gray color. the rims only come in silver, gray and a super finish which is a gray background with chrome face. theres pics of all of them on the msr website.

they really arent that tall i didnt want to go with a really skinny side wall because you loose ridability and the streets around here arent the greatest so these will hold up a little better.

what's the Weight rating on those Puppies? Those Spokes are Sexy but look a little TOO Spindly for hot corners on a Bumpy road.

A friend of Mine has an Explorer XP8 - Been through 2 full sets of wheels cuz they keep snapping spokes.

off the msr website shipping wieght is 21 pounds. as far as tracking the car probably not any time soon ive got a lot of suspension updating to catch up on before i take the car to the track. in any case did your buddy have to pay for new rims or was he able to have the company fork over new ones because they broke?

I think (E1) Eric was asking for the load rating of each individual wheel, not the actual weight of each individual wheel. To low of a load rating = broken wheels.

Dave

The wheels do look nice however.
