I recently purchased a 94 MTX with a rod knock. I replaced the engine with one out of another running SHO. I have spark from all plugs and fuel at the rails but it won't start. Thinking it may be a harness or computer problem I swapped out front harnesses/IRCM and ecu's from another 94 MTX and still the same thing. Any suggestions?

Check your injectors to see if they're firing.

I forgot to mention that. When I pull the plugs, they have no fuel on them- so there is no pulse at the injectors and they are not firing...but why? All connections have been made to the harness and I have triple checked.

Did you remember to hook up the ground wire that sits under the intake, on top of the block? It's part of the fuel injection wiring harness.

Is your intake manifold painted where your ground wire sits? If so, that could cause a bad ground.

The intake is not painted other than factory.I have put a diffrent ground strap to the intake and still nothing.I tried pulling code just to see if any thing came up that I could use and I did not get anything that would cause it to not start.Does anyone have any other ideas. THANKS, JASON

when you turn your key on...is the check engine light dim? If it is then check the ground cable from the battery going to the computer....i had that problem a while back. fixed the ground, and it fired right up
